2002 First Place Honors Open Kitchen Plan!

The renovation of this kitchen was inspired by this owner's love of nature and his leisure pursuit of handcrafting elegant birdhouses. The freestanding fireplace features a curved glass and chrome top built to the owner's specification (see detail below). Natural material such as granite countertops, cherry cabinets, and hardwood floors contrast with stainless steel appliances and streamlined design.
