The client wanted an office/library on the first floor directly off the main hall.

This room was created by combining the existing space with an under-used side porch. We bumped out and established a new exterior wall.

Gilday's interior designer suggested transom windows high on the wall, to take advantage of morning light on that side of the house.

You can see the book sized windows fitted above the top shelf.
