To make room for this master bath, a dormer was cut into the roof. Designers suggested a barrel vaulted ceiling to conform to the ellipse motif established in the grand window above the tub. The homeowner employed a decorative painter to add a sky effect. And the painter added the visual of a colorful awning being blown aloft by a summer breeze.
