How We WorkOurs is a three-step process. It begins with ideas a blending of yours and ours. Working together, we create a plan, transforming our shared vision into living space that fits your family personality and lifestyle needs. 1. Consultation MeetingFirst, we set up a consultation meeting at your home. We'll take a look around ask lots of specific questions and listen carefully to your answers. We'll try to find out as much as possible about your tastes and sense of style. We want to know how you wish to live in your home and what problems you hope to resolve through remodeling. 2. Design AgreementShould you decide to go forward with Gilday, you'll sign a design agreement and your design team will go to work on specifics. You'll get a detailed set of conceptual drawings from one of our staff architects or interior designers. One of our designers will present options and help you make choices about the look and feel of your new space. At the same time, you'll receive a budget that corresponds to your design plan and materials selections. This is a key advantage of the design-to-build approach to remodeling: You get a comprehensive, integrated package of services from start to finish. The company that develops the concept also takes responsibility for cost accounting. By the end of the design phase we'll have walked you through a number of possible approaches to your project. You'll have made final decisions as to the design and materials to be used. You'll understand exactly what you're getting and how much it will cost. 3. Construction AgreementOnce you've approved the final design and budget, you'll sign a construction agreement. And the project will be scheduled. During construction, your Gilday project manager and lead carpenter will take over day-to-day responsibility for work in your home. But all members of the design team are available to you for the duration of the project. Who We Are >>
